water htiting tweet? how bad?

I had my Boston Z6 tweeters in my pillar for a while, and rain hit them quite a few times. I put some black felt-type material over them neatly so the rain wouldn't penetrate.

Soon thereafter, I built some kick panels so I don't have to worry about that anymore. They still sound as good as they did when I first got them, so I don't think it did much damage.
