Water Fuel: Fact or Hoax?

I know its real...i'm just questioning how effecient it could be... isn't it basically the same think as a hydrogen fuel cell???? Just uses electrosis to get the Hydrogen (well HHO) instead of filling up straight on HHO. Wouldn't it have to use a lot of its power to do the electrosis too. Don't get me wrong i'm all for it...just a little skeptical about how realistic it is.

Not feasible, plain and simple...I won't get into the chemistry of it, but put simply, it doesn't work.

Also, I feel the need to clear something up. A hydrogen fuel celled machine doesn't run on the concept of hydrolysis at all. There are two options, either you're running on straight hydrogen, or there is a hydrocarbon that's passed by a catalyst which reacts the molecule with air, and cleavs off hydrogen and carbon dioxide (along with some water). Then, the hydrogen is passed through a membrane into the power generating portion of the cell.

The main reason fuel cells aren't to the point of being practical is the membrane, it's a very very hard thing to get right. It has to be efficient at passing hydrogen, but nothing else through it.
