Ok. Time to bring this up again.

It uses what is called the "hoola hoop effect" in which the woofer cone movement is minimized, but the port does all the work.

Under a specifice frequency, it acts differently and uses the 1/4 wave theory. Above a certain frequency, it acts like a sealed box. And in between these frequencies, it changfes it tuning to keep cone movement to a minimum and SPL to max.

we´r currently working on a project with one sub powered with only 650wrms @ 4ohm (12") and we have gotten it to:

148.x on old meter

143.2 on new meter (which sucked)

thinks its freaking high for one sub...

not bad. my personal best score that i've done in my car is a 148.3 with 1 12" and 700rms.
