:greedy:Hello all:) well I am going to get 2x12"Fi bl's fully loaded for daily/spl use,

they are going into a BMW 535i boot enclosure thats angled and ported towards the ski ploe hole.

The amps for the mids and tweets are sorted.

I need a silverish or greyish amp (monoblock) to run the subs

As I understand it they are 2000w each sub, so whatever you guys and gals reckon would be clean and powerful enough.

also I dont want to drag to much current as I dont have my custom alt yet.

So any thought will be good thanks ppl

I would look for a Massive Audio 3000d.. that would be more than enough to get the BL's loud.

At least 3000watts for the pair, and good chance your gonna need that electrical upgraded first...
Well I have contacted powermaster about an alt but still no joy, in oz its real hard to get one above 150 and I have a 140amp now.

So any thoughts where to get one that is from someone reliable, about a

200amp as the car gets driven daily, its not a trailer queen.

I also thought about 2x 140s or is that heaps harder to acomplish.

I will be upgrading wire from alt to batt with 1gauge or 0/1 and I have 2 batts already,

a deep cycle YT optima about 780cca and the standard 668cca thats in the car.

If it wasn't for the millions of dollers BMW spent on making these cars QUIET then my system would be able to get loud,

but thats the way it is, its even got double glazing windows so im having to pump more power to get less sound all info is appreciated the 2008 season fast approches and I need to finnish the cxar completly before then i still have interior and paint to go

That 140 might hang for a bit
the 140 is already startin to cause issues the emergency light came on for no reason the other day and the power from the engine that allowed me to whip a v8 ihas been taken down by about a 3rd so i have to something firsdt i need to get the monoblock so i know how much is been drawn in total then i need to change wireing and alt to suit
