Want to trade - 15" RE SX for a high quality 12" sub that will do well in both sealed and ported applications. Just let me know what you've got, and I'll consider it.. I'm pretty open to different brands and models of subs, as long as we're not talking audiobahn or something.. basically I'd be interested in something from JL (a w6) RE, Adire, SoundSplinter, Ascendant Audio, Incriminator Audio, Eclipse.. etc.. basically something from the higher end brands.
If we need to exchange a little cash to make the deal even, I'm open to that too.
The 15" SX is in perfect condition and has only been used for about 10 hours total. 5 Hours in a home theater setup, run with modest power, and about 5 hours in my car in a ported box, getting roughly an estimated 800 watts of power from a good clean signal. The sub performs great and doesn't even really have a single scratch or scuff on it. The only reason I want to trade it is because the ported box I've got now is a massive 3.5 cubes and it's taking up my whole trunk and I want to switch to sealed to slash the box size in half, but I've heard that the SX's don't perform very well in sealed applications. I can tell you this though.. they pound when ported.
