I have 4 10 inch kicker CompVRS, the dimesions of my hatchback is 36x14x28. This may sound dumb but how many cubic feet is that and I want to go ported to mid 30's. I have 2 Rockfords p3001 amps, 300watt rms each. I know the amps aren't great but they are good for me. the subs are wired in a series, the coils are wired in a parellel for 2 ohms.

my ?'s are

1. what kind of port should i go, sloted, round and how many ports.

I want them to face upwards. I have a guy to make the box already have a price.

2.just want to know how many cubic feet I have and if anyone thinks it a good idea or they have any better suggestions on a box. I am not selling the subs or amps to get better ones so this is what i have to work with.

I personally like slot vented boxes better, but their isnt going to be an audible difference. I just like the way it looks.

the 2005 versions. these ones but in a different box right now.(so that means 2 cubic feet per sub. is that any good for these subs?

i've got the 05's in a slot ported box in my hatch and they get very loud. i was very surprised.

right now i have them in a round ported box and they are loud but don't have many cubic ft per box so they aren't as good as i think they should be, don't get me wrong they are really loud already. yeah on their site it says for one sub 1.75 cubic ft. that is good but what about the port it says 3x10x20long now i am running 4 subs this means i have to times by 4 or what? I don't know how to build a box he does, i just know how to install everything.
