Want my comps to stop distorting

The Power bass and Clarion are the only 2 there that do rated. Id go with the PB. It has a lower SN ratio which will help. Only problem is it has a high THD. The Clarion has a lower SN ratio, but is CEA compliant, and has a wide range of LPF and HPF frequencies it can filter out.

I wouldn't go by SNR alone in this case. Clarion rates their SNR value at 1W into 4Ω.

How does PB rate theirs? At maximum power like everyone else?

Generally the better the SN ratio the better the SQ, but THD and alot of other things play a part in that as well. The way the 2 different companies measure will also be different. Clarion may have a better SN ratio over the PB due to how they test. You would have to do the research on that. But Im pretty sure either will be a decent amp.

I'm sure for my needs either will be fine, I wouldn't doubt the Clarion's a good product (I'm a bit of a fan of Clarion), and I've never used or heard any Powerbass.

Why does the PB only have a 20 amp fuse?
