Want better sound quality in my F250! Thinking of adding a sub.

I have a 99' Ford f250 supercab with a pioneer AVIC-U310BT Head Unit. I just bought some Kicker KS693 speaker because I wanted more bass and better overall sound quality, I thought that these would do it considering that they are like the best on the market. I went to best buy and they sounded great there but, I put them in my truck and they compare with my stock speakers. I did some adjustments to the eq on the head unit and it helped but I still would like a little more bass.

Now, before my truck had 6x8's in it and I put 6x9's in there. What I did was make the wholes bigger in the door. I have to ideas for adding more bass to my system.

1st Idea:

Keep the 6x9's in the front doors and put 8" subwoofers in the back doors. With some 5x7's under the backseat.

2nd Idea:

Keep 6x9's in all doors with (1) 8" shallow mount subwoofer under the rear seat.

I don't want to have way too much bass, but would like more than I have so I am thinking of going with the 2nd Idea. I am a beginner at car audio so any help or suggestion will help greatly. I know how to wire everything, but I am not very good at getting the right equipment.

Subwoofers (I've been thinking of) : Kicker CTV84 from MillionBuy

Amp : ? any suggestions

1st off stay away from best buy. 2nd there are better speakers out there. why not put a couple 8s under the seats and run 6.5s up front and for your rear doors either dont use em or run your 6x9s back there

Ya, I never bought anything from Best Buy, I just listened to the speakers there before I bought them. I bought them from Million Buy. So you think it would be better to throw a 8" under the back seat, and what about the 6.5's up front. I already have the kicker 6x9's all around.
