Want a bigger alt, possible?

So far I have gotten quotes from 160 to 180 amps and 70 to 110 amps idle. This is for my 96 Camry 2.2l. Is it possible to request something bigger, or will that just not work in my car? I was thinking something like 220 or 240. If not, are there any other options I can look at to improve my charging system? More batteries isn't really the best solution because this is more for sustained driving (I deliver pizzas) than for competitions that I can charge up for in advance.

I'm "assuming" those are stock case alts. If you want more then look into large case GM alts. Will require some mods/brackets, etc... Not sure if anyone makes a bolt on kit for your car. ohiogen has info as do a few other sites I can't remember at the moment...

Would installing a GM style alt or something of that sort be a pretty intensive project, or could I do it with next to no experience?
