i had been giving it lots of power, but i still dont think the cone should have folded, lol

when did this happen?

Too bad it folded up on you, especially without the satisfaction of burning up the coil or something else cool.

How did it happen, were you just listening, heard a weird noise and see that? Definitely interested in hearing how it happened and how you noticed it.

When i had my 3ks the aluminum cone seemed to take power better than the titanium cone did. It didnt get has hot as the other an seemed thicker. As stated how much power?

Titanium is much much stronger, you do not need it to be as thick to have more strength than aluminum.

wall socket it now.
no, the coil is still good and these arent that easy to come by (nor are they cheap) so ill salvage the coil

i was just listening to music and started to hear a scratching noise, figured it was the coil but was suprised to find the cone cracked when i opened the trunk

and TC3k101, ill get more pics when i pull the sub out of the box

That hasn't happened to TC cones in quite a while. perhaps it was just a survivor from that crappy batch.

And I'm pretty sure the cones on Audiopulse stuff are still aluminum, just an anodized aluminum alloy
