Actually i live in central nc (not mountains) and drive a lot of hilly backroads. With cruise control it downshifts to 4th going up hills.... if im driving i get a couple mph extra before the hill and can make it up without downshifting or losing more than 5mph. Shit this even happens on I40

I remember when I was on the freeway a couple moths ago and this truck, I believe it was a 350 diesel Ford tried passing me(Which he eventually did).
