Actually i live in central nc (not mountains) and drive a lot of hilly backroads. With cruise control it downshifts to 4th going up hills.... if im driving i get a couple mph extra before the hill and can make it up without downshifting or losing more than 5mph. Shit this even happens on I40

Thankfully I never have to go into passing gear while I'm in cruise...the only good thing about a hemi.
