no they are not agm batteries, they are deepcycle marine batteries

Most people get a year out of them and a vast majority actually have to use the warranty on them or run about more of them to do the samething kinetik, powermaster, deka or oddyssey would do.

I used to run marine batteries in the toolbox of my truck. They worked great. The terminals started to corrode after @6 months though. Not really a big deal, but tough to clean up when they are surrounded by carpeted trim panels. I have seen them in trunks for decades. My neighber in california had an old school impala with hydraulics that ran @6 big deep cycles in the trunk with no issues.

the deep cycles work fine for ground pounding. they take a long time to recharge though so not as good for repeated burping.

I just bought some group 31's with 130 ah for 75.00 each.. They are beasts!This batt shop has some off the wall shit! I told em I wanted something like a Deka Intimidator and the guy laughed and said I have one that kills it and brought these up..I bought 3 for now.

the everstart 1n's were pretty good batteries for under the hood and were cheep but they discontinued them now they have the 64 or 65n's and there not on par with the 1n's and the same price.
