Walled Off

I've built a box for a wall in my expedition and am pretty much done. Just not sure what to use between the pannels of the wall, and my windows and roof as not to scratch anything too much and seal good.

I thought of using a silicone strip or something similiar, but my friend said cardboard would work...All suggestions highly appreciated.

...thats not a wall. thats a big *** box in your vehicle facing the front. and cardboard? try 2x4s
Ya, its not a wall yet, i gotta get the panels on (which will be mdf too), and im just talking about what would go between the panel itself and the windows/celing.

calk is messy and will be alot harder to remove if you want to.Ive never had a problem with the tape ,should only cost 8 bucks or so,and you will be able to remove wall peices when you want to.

Id calk and let dry before install. But ya, it does seem like a bit of a sloppy hassel, especially with something as simple as tape around.

what i did with my first wall was i built the wall peices and where ever there was a question of sealing i put an extra layer or two of carpeting in that spot then wraped the whole thing.Came out with a good seal and real clean:)
