nice *** build, im guessing you made those door panels yourself too?
Thanks man. Those are stock door panels. Just cut out for speakers. I got 4 10" speaker rings today to start building the new panels.

Got another item for the new build.

Any guesses??? lol

Sorry guys had a lot going on.

The PRV box is 4 PRV DT175 horns and orange PRV wave-guides. I wasn't planning on getting cheap horns but the higher priced ones only played to 8k HZ. Tested one off a head unit and OMG it is insanely loud.

My 2 Taramps 800x4s will be here tomorrow.

More deadener will be here Monday.

Murphy said my subs will be here early next week.

Have a show Sunday but will have no bass //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Hoping to start on the doors tomorrow but still trying to get my buddies wall finished too.

I knew they were small but they were even smaller than I thought. I thought the 400x4 was this size.

I was planning on 2 in a trunk lid build with 2 10" mid bass but now I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with them. I hooked up two to one of the 800x4s last night and good god! That was at 8 ohms on 2 channels..

Ghetto rigged everything into the truck to test out. These little amps put out some power. Very impressed. I hate the type of terminals on them though. They require spade connectors.. Also these amps will protect OVER 15 volts. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I stay at 15.2 cold and they will not turn on until 15.0 or under.

Been looking into selling my DC power alternator and going with Excessive Amperage. Nate said he will build me a 400.. Yes 400 amp alternator and an adjustable voltage regulator for cheaper than my DC 270. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Got my stinger roadkill today. Also picked up some Murder mat the other day from a shop for cheap.

Let my buddy borrow my 10k until he's 8Ks get here.It is sick! Puts out a lot of power and preformed flawlessly all day at the show demoing in 98* weather.

Yes everything was ghetto rigged. We were struggling just to get him playing for the show.

Ordered a Taramps HD3000 1ohm today. Was going to go with the DSP3000 but Ill have this HD3k in a week instead of 3-4 weeks for the DSP.

Picked up 3 PAC LC1 gain knobs today and 4 replacement diaphragms for my horns.(popped two of them of accident)

Also bought a a bunch of stuff to start fiberglassing my doors. Gallon of resin, bunch of mat, filler, sandpaper, a new Dremel, and a couple odds and ends.

I'm way out of the loop. Never heard of Taramps and no idea what those orange horns are.
Taramps is a Brazilian company. They use a different setup with their amps. They use full bridge instead of half bridge like Korean amps. This makes them a lot smaller and a lot more efficient. They have been getting more and more popular in the USA. They are comparable to SoundDigital and Banda amps. My best friend and team mate is a dealer for them as well as a few other companies.

Horns are compression drivers that use waveguides to direct the sound. They are pretty much tweeters on steroids.
