wall socket fun

i would say that a L7 holds the record for me...i ve seen w3s burn in a matter of seconds, but the L7 we played was goin for a good couple minutes before it blew...too bad we didnt get that thing on the meter... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

P=E^2/RP = 120^2/1

= 14400 watts @1 ohm - 60hz

220vAC = 48400 watts @1 ohm... not sure on the frequency.

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif dunno if a DD would be able to stand my house wall socket then....

i want to start my own line of competition amps just buy a metal case and have a plugin on one side then wire the inside to a speaker output on the other
That'll be sweet a one note amplifier. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif LOL

are there any subs that would hold up to that kinda power?
To my knowledge I dont think there is any SINGLE sub that can take that much power, allthough there is prolly a few out there that can take that wired in series, put them suckas in a ported box tuned to 60hz and watch out lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

bunches.. define a specified time.. then you start losing woofers.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

my lil 10 took 5 long burps on 110v, with one coil wired up...

1 ohm coil, 110v.. cover impedence rise and you can do the math.. hehe //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
