ill be running two 15" sundown nightshades on a sundown saz 3000d @ 1 ohm.

this is going in a '96 jeep grand cherokee laredo. id like to keep the back seat functional. im trying to decide if i should just go with a large ported box in the cargo area behind the back seats, or if i should do a wall behind the back seats.

its going to be a daily driver, but i want it to get loud and move a good amount of air. trying to get hair tricks done. i dont compete, but i go to a good amount of car shows and what not, so its fun to be able to show off.

ive always ran slot ports, but im thinking of doing aero ports this time around. ive heard a lot of good things about them, so i figure ill give 'em a try. my current set up i did a ported box, sub up, ports back (towards hatch) and it moved some air, but nowhere near enough. i also got a lot of roof flex with this set up, and it was only a single 15".

any input or suggestions is appreciated.

A wall behind a back seat is pretty pointless imo, unless its needed simply for enclosure size. Otherwise, a wall's purpose is to minimize passenger compartment space, to increase the db score. Doing this, behind a back seat, is just going for the the look at that point.

i just figured walling off behind the backseats would help me get louder as well as help me move more air up front.

i cant see moving as much as air with subs up, ports facing back as the ports being right behind the rear passengers heads.
