Not my loan, I'm not 18. My mom is doing this for me, which I'm really happy about!

Also, there is no "down payment" so to speak. The bank gives you a loan for how much you want. I'm not going through the car dealership.

Does your mom have good credit? Getting a 7k loan on a car with 100l+ miles and no down payment is going to be a stretch unless she has fairly good credit. I was kind of hoping you were going to say you were putting 2-3k down but would help a lot.

Yeah, she has fairly good credit, not great but pretty good.

The only thing is, my dad makes most of the money, she works for the school year only, and doesn't make nearly as much.

Well I guess getting a smaller loan would be easier.. Oh, also the loan is for 6k.

Well, right now they're kind of in a bad position money wise...

My mom is not working because it's summer, and she works at the school, and we're trying to finish our house, and my dad hasn't been putting in full 40 hour weeks for a long time.

So they have no money to give.

Blah.. No go.. My dad said he would get a loan for me, but I don't want them to try and force this to work it didn't work out so w/e it's done... so I'm putting money into my old BMW.. 200$ for glass, and hopefully not too much more to get it running right. We have some sort of fuel problem..
