W7 or SI D2s?

Hey

Trying to decide between the following:

1 JLW7 12" or 2 Stereointegrity D2 12"s

Thing is I could get the D2s for way less than the single W7 and I heard that the D2s aren't that far from the W7 sound?

Anycase scenario will be sealed box(es) and driven of a Kicker KX1200.1?

PS: Should I maybe look into RE xxx12s instead?

Woofer to woofer the W7 is a better overall driver, but a pair of SI D2s would definitely have more output, and should have less distortion overall, since they'd require about half the excursion (since there are 2 of them) for the same output level.

The XXXs are excellent drivers as well, IMO a closer match to the W7 than the D2s.

You definitely won't be able to get a pair of XXX 12s for less than a 12w7 though...

Have you considered maybe a single XXX 15 instead?

2 XXXs for around a 1000$s

the W7 for around 1100$s

and the 2 D2s will be around 750$ ca

Put I live in proly the most expensive country in europe too so..

And the W7 I can but here but the RE or SIs I would have to get shipped over from the US

Had a look at the Adire Brahma just now and I'm really impressed!!

One or twp of those would be nice but would you suggest using 1 or 2 when powering them from an KX1200.1? Sealed box by the way

The SI D2's are amazing! I had two 12" magnum d2's, they are my favorite sub i've owned yet, peiod! peace

soon, yeah about as soon as it took GRAN TURISMO 4 to come out,but yeah, i def go w/ the 2 D2s... i owned 1 of the origanls 12s and i liked it alot...

I loved my W7 pounds like no other but I did notice my KX1200.1 that I'm running right now really drains out my car. I would recomend a capacitor and a alternator upraged with that amp. I put in a 200 alternator and put in a cap for the subs

200A alt being installed next Thursday along with 2 odysseys(PC1700 and PC1200), a stinger 3F digital cap(unnesscesary but looks cool) and O G wire
