First, you cannot get two brahmas for 600, of any size, and the ID Max retails for 429.

He got a superb price on an amazing woofer, you are not going to "rip anything" a new one all day, because it's simply a matter of personal opinion. Why don't you stop trying to downplay what is considered the finest subwoofer on the planet - and leave this thread alone unless you are here to help the poster in the first place. He, and nobody else here asked you for your views on the price of the driver. You want to step up to the plateau of performance that the W7 is on, you have a price to pay. Some are happy doing so - let them and get off their heels.

Wow, well first off, someone said, "I wish I had $600 for one sub", so I simply stated what I would do with that money, is there something wrong with that? Maybe if you read my other posts, you would see that I said "The W7 is a great driver," before you jump all over someone, don't make assumptions about what they say.
And yes, I know you can't get either of those for $600, but for $700 you can...

i only have one 12w6v2, with a pheonix gold 600.2 i have never been more satisfied. i consider it a huge upgrade from the first sub i had. a 12L7. NO ONE CAN EVEN COME CLOSE WHEN IT COMES TO SQ. JL HAS ALL THE OTHER COMPANIES ON LOCK. BOTTOM LINE. IF YOU WANT EXCELLENT BOTTOM END. BUY JL. SURE YOU'RE GONNA SPEND MORE, BUT Y SELL YOURSELF SHORT AND GET SOMETHING ELSE.
