w6 making my dash lights flicker

ive been using a tw5 running on a Rockford 5 channel amp and I traded the tw5 for a brand new

13w6v2 and when the bass hits it makes my dash lights flicker a little bit. I also noticed that when its dark outside and I have the lights inside my truck on that the lights flicker when I roll the windows up or down. both of these problems are confusing to me. called a shop but they said it sounds like I need a new alternator but my truck is only an 06 and gently used and my lights never flicker until the bass hits. anyone have this problem or possible idea to whats causing it?

U went from a 3ohm sub to a 2ohm sub so the amp is drawing a little more power. The windows do that because overtime they start to stick and the motors have to work more drawing more juice. Bigger alt may fix this but i it isn't too bad I would ignore it. If your voltage drops below 12v you definitely have a possible problem

Autozone will check your battery and alt for free most places actually do this.

Search for the "big 3" and do that in high quality 1/0awg wire this usually solves minor dimming
