or should i just go with a single 12, i think 2 12s is a little much for my small car (volvo s40)

agreed. Don't bandpass them. The local car audio places in my area have the horrid monstrosities that they call "prefab," but they sound horrible. For the love of god, put this SQ sub in an SQ enclosure.

My ex is running her v2's on a 1200.1 JBL

but was running htme on a borrow 1100 PPI tuned quite a bit down.

BTW Sealed all the way, unless you have a lot of room for ported and lot of time to tune them. (I'm still having problems tuning my V1's in a ported box)

THE SQ on them was nice, really nice (specially on the PPI). And they were very loud.

i have 12's and when i get my 2nd run i'll be running them w/the hifoncis z1000d...

i currently have 1 sealed 12 running off that amp at 750 watts @ 2ohms....

its sooooo **** good......

if u do it, make sure u do it right man.... those subs cost enough so u might as well get a good clean amp..

would the jbl 600.1 run these 2 10s or is it too little?

a jbl 600.1 will run 2 w3v2d2's not w3v2d's.... so be sure to get the right ohm load.... you'll have to put the subs in a sealed box b/c no subsonic filter.....

on the topic of subsonic filters.....My eclipse amp has a 20hz subsonic filter but I have a ported box tuned to around 37 hz....Is this safe for my 2 alpine type-r's????
