nice sub, i like the unique basket, reminds me of a D9. The cone is uglee, so invert that bi tch

i actually like the look of the cone. still consider it the most well designed and sexiest sub ever. i also like the brushed aluminum dust cap, heat sink fins, and outer rim. it looks a lot better in person. can't wait to get my car back //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/santa.gif.e1ec9cf2e0a0dd232ad35aa594a126d0.gif

Update- I got my car back last week. Its a little under powered at around 500 watts from my amp but the efficiency is not that bad. The distortion compared to the Alpine Type R is ten times lower. The performance is unbelievable....im very satisfied with this sub. I notice a big jump in resolution, I can hear things I never heard before. I'm selling my alpine m1005 to get the pdx1000.1, so if anyone is interested pm me.

Don't hammer the t-nuts in, they will just fall out most of the time.

They need to be pulled into the MDF. The easiest way to do this is with a washer and a screw or bolt to pull the t-nut up and into the wood.

thanks lukas, love your site. I decided not to use the t-nuts, just regular screws the same size. someone decided to rear end me the other day and my car will be back in the shop for another week =( but considering the 4000 watts peak for the w12gti and only given 500 watts....its still noticeably louder than my new OZ Audio matrix elite ME 10.4 being fed 1000 watts. im very impressed with the w12gti and i can't wait to get a pdx1000.1
