VW Corrado

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody here has first hand experience in any way of the VW corrado. I can get a nice condition used on for cheap from a family friend. It is a 1990 with the supercharged g60 motor and 5spd *****.

Fun little cars but kind of a bitch to work on.

I would only consider one with a vr6 though.

Good luck finding parts for the g60 motor. Anything engine specific like fuel delivery/intake; ac equipment; and & odds & ends like distrubtor's etc will turn into a pita real quick. They're bad@ss little cars though.

there are tons of info on them all over the internets. your best bet is http://www.vwvortex.com.

but they are badass looking. looks like one of those Porsche 944s. bad ***.

love it. if its in good working\physical condition, i say do it and play with it if you can afford to play with a car that is. i would not suggest getting it if you dont enjoy trying to work on cars or if you need something for daily driving dependability.
