Ummm....word has it that the L7 will actually get louder than the SoloX...to a point anyways. For street applications the L7 takes the case. I have seen a SoloX off of 4800 watts and it was nothing impressive. The Solo was craving more. The L7's would kick butt with that type of power. The Solo will take the power better, but from my personal experiences, the L7 will infact get louder, given the 4000 watts of course.

weird Shawn, my 12" is louder than dual L712' setups here at work. In street applications I agree, if power is not there to both feed the power demand and power to the sub.What size Solo X did you see with 4800 watts?
