Vote To Impeach Bush

MY opinion. A Canadian one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

For a long time I could care less what Bush did. And as much as some people might think, Bush didnt effect my life one **** bit. Im Canadian, why should he. It wasnt untill I started to wrap my mind around the state that the worlds that I realized how I didnt agree with his decisions. I saw the war, and from the outside all I viewed was one nation (And there large power driven ego) intruding into another nations buisness. Many do, but they claim that they are making the country into a free nation. Doing shit like implanting a government and stuff. It was ridiculous. And once again I looked at it as a power hungry nation, with a big ego problem trying to run the world. I was extremely proud when Canada declined the invitation to war. Than Bush does things like shut down the border for all beef exports, One madcow and a year later they are battling to allow our (incredible) beef into the united states.

Could you imagine peoples views on the United States if they took all that ****ing money they have spent in Iraq (can you even imagine that dollar figure) and put it into a few starving countries... Than maybe I would of given bush some respect. As for now I wouldnt give him the time of day.

support those who DEFEND you, even if YOU dont support the cause or the man
SUPPORT THOSE WHO DEFEND YOU???

LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING... I have "BROTHERHOOD" tattoo'd from shoulder to shoulder because my lil brother just graduated HS in 2001 and was in Marine bootcamp during 9/11. During that time I was in a drug rehap, trying to beat some charges. I knew his *** was going to WAR, but it was against BIN LADEN NOT SADDAM. When BUSH started diverting from the initial mission and going after Saddam I knew shit was all wrong. I WAS RIGHT.

In January 2002 my brother was activated and sent overseas to kuwait, which to me meant he was getting ready to go in Iraq. I was still on probation until 2004, and I was just finishing a 14 month rehap. I filed for Early dismissal of probation to enter the marines, under the same division and same job as my brother. I was studing to take the ASVAB test when the judge denied my dismissal. This was in April 2002.

Long story shorter, there was nothing that I can do to "help" make sure my little brother was safe. My parents we worried sick because not only of the physical danger of war but the mental torment as well.

My father told me specifically "I wish it was you over there because we know you can handle yourself" --->

My reply was "dont worry, if anything happens I am going to bootcamp after probation"....

My mentality was if ANY THING happened to my brother I was going into boot camp after signing up for ACTIVE DUTY, with the DONT GIVE A FVCK attitude, I would have a hell of a time but it would make me stronger and more angier... then I would KILL as many of them fvckers as I could to redeem my brother... revenge is a mothafvcker and that would have been the pure force driving my soul.

So point is I was fully prepared to die and defend, but for my brother because this fvcking idiot of a president FVCKED UP. I did vote, I was ready to vote in early 2002 when he diverted. $hit I was up a 630 am and one of the first people in the voting booth when the elections were here...

as for the outcome, my brother came home fully alive and well in september. He never entered Iraq, but his best friend who was in the same plattoon did. I dont know how he got so lucky but he had someone on his side.

Oh and by the way my personal view of the forces is that I wouldnt enlist for anything, but this was something that I considered I had to do.

Jack frost-

you are 100% correct on your statements as far as the crusades. It seems very few individuals actually understand the reasons why we are hated so much by the middle east.

It's a little too late now anyway to do this. Impeaching him would only bring up Dick Cheney, who probably makes many of the President’s decisions anyway. I don't believe that you could prove that he broke the law either. I'm not the biggest fan of Bush nor was I of Kerry. You would think the most "powerful" country in the world could bring up a few better leaders than those two boneheads.

On a side note what I find very interesting that the so called "tree huggers" or environmentalists were right about New Orleans. The city was originally able to exist because of the intricate system of wetlands and marshes that protected the lowlands from storm surge and tidal fluctuations. When man built his walls and his pumps they dredged, developed and polluted the areas, which killed most of the natural buffer. Now we can see the value of protecting the environment in certain cases.

although I always though Bush had bad ideas and methodoligy

he wont be kicked out by no means, but I think he is doing a great job in destroying the current US economy - and putting us deeper into debt

I didnt vote for him.............

Just a different opinion here...

After doing my final year of HS in Canada this past year (lived in US all my life till last year), I realised how much Canadians hate Bush. In my Geography class... I almost failed for supporting Bush and saying my family supports Bush (and I never really had reasons why). Canadians have the worst opinions on Bush. Then I researched why... and ****, I agree. Bush did harsh things even to Canada... A neighbor country, that have been great together forever. I don't know everything from the Canadian point of view. But my class actually was getting me convinced Bush is a bad president.

But I also think... there's honestly no man better for the job than Bush. He is still president for a reason. Every person thinks they can step up out of nowheres and still be a better president. It's much more work than you think and he has to defend and protect A LOT of people and is responsible for a lot in the world. I do agree Bush is a fvcker... but there's no better options IMO. Quit complaining... wait time out and see what happens... Next chance you get to vote, you better do it and quit complaining people.

This thread is worthless. Nothing more then a bunch of bandwagoneers. If you dont like the president that is fine. In the 1860s half the population hated out president at the time, he is now consitered one of our greatest. Now dont get me wrong, I am not a huge Bush supporter, I just feel out of the turd and the douche we chose the right one.
