Ive owned an aq2200 and my current db drive amp is on par with it. Both can be run at .5ohm daily both do every bit of rated. Both look sxy. Mine just has a smaller footprint. I love them both so dont get me wrong. But since the aq is not on this mans list then db drive is the winner.. BB are not well known for running at low loads and low voltage and making it threw.. Unlike the db and aq.. Got a semi local guy that runs 2 db 2500's at .25ohm daily. Proof can be found on the usaci fourm and he is a member there also if you need further proof.
No, that is nearly impossible to find a quality piece for that budget. How about lowering power demand and making the enclosure more efficient, which in turn will score you a better amp with in that budget.
