Hi, New here but hopefully looking for an answer!
I have a 2007 pre facelift XC70 that was fitted with the HU850 6 CD unit and the amp under the passenger seat. I wanted to install my Alpine 113BT headunit so purchased the following autoleads and adapters:
FP-10-06 facia adapter - all fitted and looks OK
PC9-414 Volvo Din to male phono - linked through the 4 phono pre amp outputs on the rear of the 113BT
PC2-711-4 Harness adapter - this has 2 outputs but the HU850 has only one input
PC5-96 Volvo ariel to ISO adapter - all connected and working
Now everything is installed and mostly working. The CD works, the ipod works, the tuner works the BT pairs with my phone ok and has uploaded my phone book, however....
When I make a call or try to receive a call, the 113BT connects, I can answer and make calls but I have NO sound.
I am guessing that the 113BT pre amp outputs are not used by the BT when making or receiving calls and as I have not connected the speaker ISO block (remember there is only one ISO block to the car's wiring system), then I can't hear the BT calls.
Am I right in thinking this way and if so, is there any way I can get the BT sound to start working?
It's a ballache with disconnecting batteries and removing the unit from the car, so I would like a way of sorting it on one try if possible, I don't really want to keep having to disconnect everything many times to work by trial and error!!
