Volume up and down along with static and speakers not working.

I have been having a constant problem with the volume going up and down but also heavy static/noise and certain speakers working and then not working. Maybe a grounding issue? Im really not sure. I am running a basic sony drive SHX HU with JL audio 6 channel E6450 amp and 4 JL 6.5 components, as well as the stock Bose tweeters in a 03 Nissan 350z. Any ideas of where to start? I forgot the the sub a JL W6 10.

The same thing happened to me and come to find out I had a stray piece of wire hitting some metal inside the vehicle, this is common in the doors especially and I fixed the stray wire and no more probs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yeah thats sounds like its certaintely something like that. I might just need to tear it all down to make sure the connections are secure.
