I am trying to figure out what I would need for a ported box that holds two 10's the resonant frequency is supposed to be 38hz/36hz the manual comes with dimensions for a single ported enclosure as well as the length of the port. But since I'll be using two of those subs in one box I'm wondering if I simply need to double the volume and add a second port to it in order to accommodate the second sub.
(Dimensions of the Single Sub Enclosure(From the Manual))
Width: 18"
Height: 13"
Depth: 10"
Port Diameter: 3.5"
Port Length: 10"
Port Frequency: 38hz
Box Volume: 0.9 Cube(s)
(Dimensions for Dual Sub Enclosure(What I Am Guessing Should Be Right))
Width: 30"
Height: 15"
Depth: 11"
Port1 Diameter: 3.5"
Port1 Length: 10"
Port2 Diameter: 3.5"
Port2 Length: 10"
Port Frequency: ???
Box Volume: 2.1 Cube(s)
The specs show that the sub's resonant frequency is 36hz which is I'm guessing what I should try tuning the port to. It's also recommended to have 1cube of volume in a ported box. What I want to know is if for volume I simply needed to add 1+1 and whether or not what I'm doing with the ports is correct.
