Volume Jumping between radio and cd

Hey guys, I just intalled a sony M7815x and some subs and such. I have a wierd problem tho. Whenever i switch between the radio and cd the volume jumps like 50%. The radio is really low and the cd is really high? Bass output and everything goes from soft to loud. Any ideas? Thanks.

dunno if ur HU has this, but my premier has ASL or SLA forgot which, but itll let me adjust the volume level of the radio.

MY SONY hu does the same thing but not only betwwen radio and cd.it actually does it all the time,just turns up when it wants 2.i dont know sonys junk im puttin a new pioneer in tomarrow.

Yep, I have decided that this HU is going on ebay. Either a Pioneer or a 9835/33 if I can still find one. Not only is the volume jumping, the display washes out in even the littlist light, and there are no numbers when adjusting things like volume or bass or sub levels.
