Volume increases when accelerating

I just bought a 2011 camry without JBL system and I realize that my music sounds louder when i accelerate. It also sounds lounder on the freeway with the same same setting and volume. Anyone know what it is?

Some audio systems actually will increase volume for highway cruises and acceleration, to make up for excessive road noise.. My excelon head unit does. But if its un naturally doing it then idk

That's normal for most newer cars now. There are settings to accomodate while you are driving and noise to increase the radio output. If you notice the volume goes down when you are traveling slower and less road noise. I have ASL (Auto Sound Levelizer) in my Lexus.

my wifes ford focus was like that. when you slow down the vol gets lower but speed up and it goes back to normal
