i wanna make a sealed box for a pair of RF HX2 12's

i was wondering what i should have for volum ein the box....i was thinkin around 1.5ft3 or so....is this too much/too little?

also- i want to use 1" thick mdf- is this overkill?

thanks alot

Im not really to familar with the RF's, but about the 1" wood, yes that is overkill. You usually only need 1" when buildng BIG ported boxes that have lots of pressure going through them.

that should be a good size box for those subs. use 3/4 cuz ur hx2 subs shouldn't be running thousands of watts unless u have power series. if u have the punches the 3/4 should be good.
