ok, according to my stinger voltmeter, when i have no audio on, im at 13.6~v. is that a good voltage? i have a 250a mechman alternator.

also, at what voltage should i stop playing and let my batteries recharge? 12v?

13.6 would be just fine. and the min voltage would depend on the amps you are running. some amps can handle lower voltages, just look at their operating voltage ranges

Id get a decent dmm to test out the voltage and calibrate your stinger voltmeter if you havent already, seems on the low side for voltage (but not horrible)..
