Voltage Drops

Alright, so, i've always gotten voltage drops whether my sub amp is on or off. Sometimes when I let off of the gas, or break, I get voltage drop. Every time I put my windows down or up, I get a voltage drop. I don't know what it could be exactly. I drive an 01 Impala. I'm going to do the big 3 shortly, and was hoping that could help, but I think it may be something electrically unless i'm wrong. If anyone could help me, i'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

weak alt. get it tested at the zone. auto zone

pretty much every car with stock electrical is gonna get some degree of voltage drop when you use anything electrical like power windows or fans or whatever. that doesnt mean theres something wrong wtih your car but everything you use draws current and manufactureers only provide the bare minimum amperage needed to supply the devices in your car. anything extra and you will most definately see a drop

Haha promotin Auto Zone. I'll check that out, thanks. Would adding a battery in the back help with the current draw, or not at all?

it would help, but would also hide a potential problem that you already potentially have.

so, check out the alt and if it's good, then add a battery.
