Not that good of a buy for $50, I wouldnt pay over 25 for a used volfenhag. I have heard people saying they struggle to handle rated power. Their products are extremly cheaply made and they rely on the misconception of well engineered products coming from germany.

To be completely fair, I've owned and pounded a set of these for 10 years, daily. Still as solid as could be. Not to mention, the subwoofers themselves have been pushed to the extreme just about every time I turn the radio on. I found this forum actually because I googled a surface repair kit but I'd say, yeah after 10+ years, that sub you got was probably worth every bit of that 50$
