Volfenhag 2000w amp

that amp won't run at 1.33 ohms.

You have 3 svc 4's and you want to get ~400w to each?

You need a mono amp that will do around 1500w at 1 ohm.

You're going to have to spend around $250 to get it, or buy used/refurb'd.

The Hifonics bxi1206d or 1208d, or the bxi1606d or 1608d would be about the cheapest semi-reliable NEW amps that I can think of. There's also the audioque aq1200d for $250 that gets a lot of love.

Yes, thats the second time ive been referred to the audioque AQ1200D.. gonna have to be something ill look into.

probably not stable at 1.33 ohms. Even if it is it might not do any more than 400w or so. Again 125-150w per sub.

Another problem with Volfenhag is that they just aren't high quality amps. If it failed in a few months nobody would be surprised.

Seriously - if you want an amp to do what you specified you're going to have to ante up. If there were a $150 amp that woud do it, or even be close - we'd point you in that direction.

this is about the dirt cheapest 1 ohm stable amp I know of that has shown some dependability. It will give you, again, about 150w per sub.

here's a very cheap amp that MIGHT give you 300w or so per sub...

But again, of questionable quality.

Those subs probably couldn't handle a true 400 a piece anyway...
Not saying they could nor couldn't... just looking to build a semi-decenct system thats good for my car.. don't need ppl down the block to be jamin to my tunes. lol. (well... yet)

i had that volfenhag amp. the only thing i like about it is the guage at the top end of the amp that goes up and down as output flows through. other than that, that amps a POS. lol

do as everyone says and look for something more high end of more quality.

Listen to n2audio he is making good suggestions. Im sure we all started out where you are now but truly you get what you pay for. I would try and stay away from companies like volfenhag or cheaper brands. They are just not good quality and will not do anywhere near the power they say. The hifnonics amps are good cheaper resorts as well as the crunch being they are made by the same company. Buy something that you can depend on and not have to worry about and you will be happier in the long run.

So a HIFONICS BXI1206D 1200w ... I can prolly get one for near $200.. which im willing to do, that would prolly be my best choice for the moment... yes?
