What are the voices telling you to do?

Generally the non-fading output is a subwoofer output ~ called non-fading as it isn't affected by the fadar control in the HU. Does it have any kind of adjustable filtering on the NF preamp outputs?

No, there's no filter on on the fader output. Just on the amp. What is meant by the slope of the x-over,you say it's ok but I thought there was supposed to be no voices at all.

You hear the voices due to the slope of your xover. It's no big deal.

That would have to be a pretty unrealistically shallow slope for vocals to still be audible through the subwoofer with the lowpass set at 50hz.

Maybe the lowpass on your amplifier is not functioning correctly? Are you sure you have it set correctly (i.e. turned on, set to the proper frequency, etc)? I know...sounds like a stupid thing, but sometimes there are switches that need to be set to "on" for the xover to work...and sometime people forget to flip that switch.

Squeak is right, unless that's a 6db slope xover, I cant see it allowing any voices through while set at 50hz, probably not even then. The problem is with the xover, either broken or not set properly.

On a related note, a kid at my school was talking just a few days about how he always hears voices coming from his sub, which according to him, makes the good.

Take the sub out and look on the back of it. Make sure the switch that says 'VOICES' is set to 'off'.

Lots of useless posts in here. Here's something that might help....

You didn't mention what amp you are using? If it's a 2 channel that you are bridging to sub(s), maybe there is a xover function switch, they usually have 3 settings, lowpass, highpass and through (or full). Look for it and make sure it's set to lowpass.

Edit: I see you mention a ssf, most stereo amps don't have one of those, but your amp still could have switch to disable, or bypass xover //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
