I know that the voice coil config. give you flexability in a system with more that one driver or with the amp. But is there any advantage for the sub?

The reason I ask is this...

My amp does max power @ 4 ohm. So Im looking at dual 2 or single 4ohm.

I will only be using one sub so the coil config. doesnt really matter to me as long as it comes up to 4 ohm. Would there be an advantege to choose one over the other? Does DVC have any advantages over SVC?

Only possible advantage is that, in the event you wanted to get a new amp at some point in the future, the DVC would allow you 1ohm aswell. No difference in performance.

Cool thanks. I didnt know if maybe DVC would disapate heat better, or handle the wattage better, or some crap like that
