From what I have read,

Aluminum is better for heat dissipation

Copper is stronger overtime and makes the sub have a higher bl.

Aluminum can usually take more thermally but is less efficient in doing so.

I prefer 24k gold voicecoils. Diamond coated for heat resistance.
