They wherent on the pre release version. IMO Microsoft broke the OS more when they revised the prerelease version that they sent to their OEM distribuors.

too bad this world is all about money, or more companies would support the os's out there that have been better than anything from microsoft for years. anyone remember os/2? os/2 owned dos/win 3.1. hell, it owned win 95/98/me. problem was, noone made software to support it. same story with linux, sun os, mac os. for gaming anyway, and thats all i use my computer for. can't really play the good games without xp.

Vista is one Resource Hog, I got 4 GIG PC4500 and it still drags. The network uses something like 512meg right out of the box.

2 gig PC4000 and 2.33gHz core 2 duo runs decent with vista. I dont know the FSB but it is on a high end Asus motherboard. Runs better than 512 meg 2.4 P4 computer I put the preview version on.
