It has a long way to go before I will consider it. Many apps/games are broken in it along with hardware support. 5 years ago when they promised a new db based file structure I was hyped, then when they shitcanned that feature I lost interest. XP does everything right now, so why fix it?

I got my new pc two days ago. Came with vista. Took a while to figure some of it out.I don't like how they've change the configuration of windows.

I'm at my moms right now, I'll be home in about a half hour. I'll give you guys some screenshots.

The department of defence has scheduled that by the end of this year all goverment workstations will be Vista. too bad this world is all about money, or more companies would support the os's out there that have been better than anything from microsoft for years. anyone remember os/2? os/2 owned dos/win 3.1. hell, it owned win 95/98/me. problem was, noone made software to support it. same story with linux, sun os, mac os. for gaming anyway, and thats all i use my computer for. can't really play the good games without xp.
