VISONIK 10" SUBWOOFER/AMP/SUB BOX Why not?

I'm looking at this on ebay it's 100 bucks. What I need is just alittle more bass to help the front and rear out. I'm not big on making my neighboors knick knacks shake off there shelf or having my friends ears bleed while riding around. So I'm looking for alittle thump to make my listening pleasure a bit better. Suggestions???

Good so you've used Visonik so what's the Good the Bad and The Ugly about them please fill me in! Suggestions for an amp box and woofer for 100 bucks???

ive never owned them, but a friend had 2 10s in a bandpass, and they sounded really bad... but if thats all you have is 100 bucks, keep saving and buy a real system for ~350- make your own box, and semi descent 10/12" subs, and buy a decent amp for ~200 (see diamon D3400.1)

acctually... hear we go. wiring kit ($20-30), box ($20 MDF @ home depot), Diamond D3 3400.1 (180 on ebay), and 1 diamond audio D3 10" Dual 2 ohm sub ($80 on ebay) and $310 and you'll be much more than pleased.

i heard the ones with the stitched cones and plastic dustcaps can come apart at the seems where the woven part is stitched to the surround and dustcap, and in the best case, leak, worst case, fall apart completely

Yikes ok so I don't want something that is gonna fall apart that is for sure! Ok then you may have just talked me down from the edge! So if I'm not looking for SLAM BAMM make your hair move bass in my car and I just want something that sounds good with heavy rock like Disturbed, Godsmack, Buck Cherry, Linkn park and that sort of thing what do you reccomend?

here go cheapie, just buy a Mach 5 audio 12" subwoofer for 50 bucks (with shipping) and build yourself a small sealed box for it.
