viper vs hifonics

Definately go with the Hifonics.

I received my 2nd refurbed Viper 1200.1 from Ikesound on Friday. It's blowing fuses just like my last refurbed Viper 1200.1 was.

I almost thought it was my electrical system for almost a bit until I tested my old PG 500.2 which had 0 issues unlike the Viper.

There is a reason there are so many refurbed Vipers around.. They break, and often.

Swapped out the BX1500d for my Orion 1200d. Night and day in musical reproduction. If you can't afford the Orion buy the Hifonics. But that is the only way I would choose the HiFonics over the Orion.

Where did you buy the Orion 1200D? Ike? Refurb?

must be a busted amp.... ive had my viper for a good 8 months, nothing broke. its a workhorse i tell ya.

I faced the Dilema I didnt know what amp to get either the Viper for the HIfonics. I Finally went with the viper 1200.1 from Ikesound. I paid 194 shipped and comes with a 6 month warranty. I have my subs wired at 1ohm and the amp never overheats. I never heard the hifonics but i do agreed they look way better than the viper. But then again my audiobahn was one of the nicest looking amps out there but it sucked ***. go with the viper.
