Anybody have any installing experience with this alarm? I need some help, I have never installed an alarm in my life but I would like to start. Thanks!!

I just purchased this alarm for my 2000 Celica GT. I spent $200 getting it installed from a car audio shop... more than I paid for the alarm itself off of eBay.

So I wish you luck installing it.

I install at least one a week, at least one alarm daily, pretty much year round. If you need any help shout my way. Id be happy to give you guidance.

It's going to be installed in a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse gsx 5spd.

is the 791xv remote start as well as alarm & keyless?

It's remote start and I'm not sure if its keyless or not....but I tried doing it yesterday and I guess I'll just have somebody install it for me...its a pain in the ***!!!

it not that hard, have you got a wiring diagram for your car? Try bulldogsecurity.com for wiring diagrams. That unit is keyless entry, remote start and alarm. If you need any help PM me, for your your car its straight forward,you do have to bypass the clutch though since its a 5spd.

Yeah thats where I got the wiring diagram for my car. I'll probably give it another shot in 2 weeks as for now I have to take care of all the x-mas stuff first. I have one question, would the alarm interfere with my turbo timer?

sorry to jump on your thread but how would I hook up the 508D field sensor to my alarm.

I already have the viper 791XV installed but don't know how to install the field sensor?

I have a 99 Civic.

Any help please...
