I have a Viper 1200d that is right now running two 10'' JL's.

I'm lookin at the RE site, and the RE SE 10" should be wired at 4ohm, but I don't think my 450 x 1 @ 4 ohm is gonna make these subs any better than my JL's.

Should I get the SX's wired at 2 ohm (amp is 800 x 1 @ 2 ohm), or go with the SE and put that at 4 ohm (450 x 1 @ 4 ohm)?

Or could I even wire the SX's another way?

Thanks, and yeah, this could have gone into about 3 other forums, but this has more to do with my amplifier's power.

I'm getting two subs.

Would one Viper 1200 be able to run two SX's well?

I'm confident that if I can wire two SE's at 2 ohm that will be fine, but would two SE's at 4 ohm not be enough power?

two DVC4 ohm subs can be ran at 1 ohm. and the viper1200.1 is 1ohm stable.

SE's RMS is 600. i put 800 to my SE10 with no problems.

wire them to 1ohm, gain it down if you dont feel comfertable. 600 is the sweet spot for the SE series. at 4 ohm, it would not be close to near eough, that would be like 200+change to each sub.
