viper 1200 vs jbl 1200

d class no good-draws too much power and causes static electricity throughout the vehicle.
what in the **** are you talking about?

d class pulls so much power it will clip to keep from burning up
WTF? pulling AMPERAGE and producing power are two TOTALLY different things buddy. if the amp can not pull the amout of amperage it needs to make X amount of watts, it simply WONT produce the power until the electrical system is upgraded. and until then, it just wont produce the power, this is the same NO MATTER WHAT AMPLIFIER YOU BUY.

d class is good for low budget-a/b for the sq in mind. anybody who cares about sound quality would go with a/b. dont let them fool you-you can hear the noise in your subs. if you had one arc xxk 1500 powering one idmax vs one viper 1200 powering one idmax which one hit harder and sound 5 times better?
class A\B is usually used for midbass\midrange\highs because there is an audible difference *in some cases*. most 4 channel amplifers are A\B anyway, so it dosn matter. class D is usually strictly for subwoofer application because the distortion from a class D amp *IS ALMOST ALWAYS* inaudible at subbass frequencies (80hz and under). they are usually 20%~40% MORE efficent than class A\B amps, and require LESS amperage and produce MORE wattage.

you sir, need to learn some facts. stop posting meaningless babble that you hear from your friends who know nothing. do not state 'hear say' as fact.

y'all took it the wrong way-yes a d class uses less power stores the power in incriments in the s-load capasitors and there for creating less of a havac on the ampage-but the power of an a/b mode amp is 90% consistant no delays and the power is much cleaner. zapco makes the best d class mono and if you compare that to a mcintosh double stack mono 650+1@4ohm a/b -you know which one will sound louder and cleaner-period. and if you disagree call scott buwalda-2 time world sq champion. and guess what im demoing his iridium 6.3's,iridium subs and a class dsl amps.

DONT PLAYER HATE-PARTICIPATE!!

thank you very much.

the reason why you choose d class is because your not a class material //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
