would the Power acoustik be worth the extra cost? Although it would come with a 1 year warranty as opposed to the viper... I can get a viper for $200 and the PA for $280. with the PA I could give my 2000SPL's a full 750 watts a piece (with gains down a bit), wheras with the viper I could only give them 600 a piece.

worth it or no? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif I think im going to go with the viper, but would an extra 150 watts per sub make much of a difference?

my pa 1250d is underrated. Jemorgan had it bench tested before he sold it to me. It does about 1400 watts rms @ 1 ohm at 14.4 =D my HC LOVES it. i paid 200 for it, but i got ripped off. on ebay boo1carr sells them for pretty cheap, because he is sponsored by them. I havent gotten a chance to talk to him about it, because i dont have any feedback because i just registered. IMO u should go with pa.

i had viper 1200 and have a pa a3000 now, both are very solid but viper looks cooler //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif but you wouldnt be dissapointed with either one, but i would assume you would get more power out of the pa

well I wouldnt be running the PA to its fullest potential anyway, so basically my question is, would it be worth spending $80 more to get 100 watts more to each sub, as well as a warranty?

I had a Directed 1500D (Quite similar to the Viper 1200d I believe) and the PA1800bd I have now seems to have just as much, if not more) output. I have no doubt the PA2400bd will be more powerful. If you're so worried about it why not just step up to the PA3000bd?

tryin to watch my budget //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif

i've decided on the viper. I dont think its worth the extra 80 bucks. i'm satisfied with my crunch v-600, so im sure the viper will be all the upgrade I need and wont break my bank.

ive had my viper for like a good 8 months. Never lets me down, even tho it goes into protect from overheating a lot (poor ventilation and so cal weather = not good.) but it pushes my LI very very nicely

oh im running it at 2 ohm rite now

Nice choice. I have never had a problem with my viper and it puts out tons of power. I remember reading someone benched there viper and it was putting out 1350 or somwhere around there.
