Vince Young declares for NFL Draft

I think Young has alot more composure than Vick that is why he is a better passer. Vick is by far more agile, oh and Yong has better field awareness.
Young hasnt even taken an NFL snap........so how do you know he is a better passer? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

He'd have to be a fokin moron to stay. He got his national title, he's gone. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

What a bold statement

Hell, I will say it then. I think Michael Vick is the most overrated quaterback in the NFL today. Too me he has never passed the ball well. The only thing he can do and yes he does it well, is run the ball. But hell he gets sacked so much it isnt even funny. I looked at his stats the other day and besides his running ablility he isnt shit. I could have sworn last time I looked that the quarteback was supposed to throw the ball. Maybe he should be a running back instead, cause his passing numbers are weak as hell.

I am not gonna compare Young to Vick, well maybe I will a little. I think Young is a much better passer than him. He may not have the arm power of vick but is more accurate and knows how to lead a team. So we will see, but I think Young will be better in the NFL then Michael Vick will ever be. Such a dissappointment. Then there is his brother. That is another story all together.

I say that young would fit in very well with the Texans. They have a good running back and well there quarteback is well...... just another average quaterback given a good offense. So if the Texans could get Young a couple of offensive lineman and another reciever to fit with Andre Johnson, then they could make some progress.

I'm not sure what any of that has to do with what I posted, unless the guy I was addressing was referring to Michael, I thought he was talking about Marcus.

And I'm not sure what you're talking about with the Texans having a good offense, they're one of the worst in the league. Andre Johnson has been decent so far, but he definitely hasn't proven himself to be a #1 WR like everyone thought. Domanick Davis is a solid RB, but their offensive live is a complete joke, and they can't keep an OC around long enough to build any continuity. The only way they can make up for their line without getting a ton of new players is to get Reggie in hopes that it will open their passing game some. Davis and Bush could be a pretty nice combo, similar to what the Steelers have done in the last few years. They're gonna get Reggie anyways because the fans are sick of waiting and want a perceived superstar.

I think Vince would be a much better fit for the Titans. McNair doesn't have much time left, and he's been mentoring Vince for a long time. They could keep him on the bench like the Bengals did with Carson and try to teach him how to play in the NFL, because Vince has basically lived off his ridiculous athleticism so far.

I said David Carr is just an average quaterback "given" a good offense. I in no way said that they have a good offense in that. I know they have one of the worst offenses in the league hence the reason I said if they get a couple of good "offensive lineman".

I still say Young would fit in better than bush. I am sure Bush and Davis would be a leathel combination, but Davis would never stand for it and would want to be traded. I think he fits them good. Hell he had only played in 11 games this season and missed 1000 yards by 24 yards. If he played the whole season, he could of easily hit 1500 yards, not to mention he is one of the better recieving baacks in the NFL. Texans would have a superstar in Young, given a year or 2.

Also about the vick thing. I thought you were all comparing him to Michael Vick. Becasue I dont think Marcus is nothing like his brother. I know Marcus is going into the draft after what happened this past week, but I dont think anyone will be rushing to get him.

Gotcha, my mistake. I thought you meant he was already given a good offense.

It's no sure thing that Vince would be a superstar in a year or 2, especially given their terrible line and complete coaching and managing ineptitude. They're gonna draft someone who has the best chance to make the biggest impact as soon as possible, and that's Reggie. Davis will still get his 20 carries a game, Reggie can go in the slot when both are on the field.

And I just read that the Texans announced they're taking Bush #1 no matter what, so none of this really matters.
