Got my ish together finally....
I modified my amp enclosure that used to house my xx-cyclops to now house my AX3200DE. Mounting it with the gut forward was going to be more of apain in the *** than I wanted....and the cyclops guts were so much beefier that it wasnt nearly as aesthetically pleasing with the ax guts. Dont get me wrong the ax guts are nice, but I miss the crispy kreme donut sized torrids (think thts what those are, correct me if im wrong).
But I digress....The LED lighting reflects off the laser etched US Amps/RE Logo pretty awesomely. I did the best I could to get the pics right. Given my camera phone is only so good, most of the pics I took came out with alot of glare. Especially in the video...the glare looks awful. It looks sick in person though. The very first pic I'll post does it justice, the rest are alright.
Enclosure before
Glued supports for the cyclops ripped out. wiring touched up and a few brackets to keep the wires down flat since the back cover of the amp will be off. The corners are raised mounting feet for the amp. THis gives the amp roughly a half inch lift so some air can get under there and cool the board directly. I wasnted to run soem kind of ducting from 2 of the fan directly up under and to the board....but that would be a pain and there's enough air flow in there I doubt I'll ever have any issue with cooling. 8 fans blowing air up in there lol
The LEDs used are multi colored, and switchable via IR remote control FTMFW
more good stuff coming
